Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
Place the chicken breasts on the prepared sheet pan and brush both sides with the olive oil marinade. Make sure they are evenly coated.
Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes around the chicken on the baking sheet. Drizzle with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove the pan from the oven. Top each chicken breast with mozzarella balls and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C) and the cheese is melty and slightly golden.
Once cooked, remove the sheet pan from the oven and drizzle the balsamic glaze over the chicken and tomatoes.
Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Serve directly from the sheet pan for a rustic look or plate individually for an elegant presentation.
