In a baking dish, arrange the cherry tomatoes in a single layer. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, minced garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes if using.
Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the tomatoes. Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the feta.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the tomatoes are blistered and the feta is slightly golden and melty.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Using a fork, mash the feta and tomatoes together to create a creamy sauce.
Stir in the cooked pasta until well coated with the cheesy tomato mixture.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves for added flavor and color.
