Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Lower the heat to medium, then pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine with the garlic. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese into the skillet, stirring constantly until it melts and combines with the cream, creating a smooth sauce.
Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Allow it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Once everything is well combined and heated through, sprinkle fresh parsley on top for garnish.
