1servingcooking spray or melted butter for greasing
1servingmaple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh berries for serving
Instructions
Begin by cutting the slices of brioche or challah bread into bite-sized cubes (about 1-inch pieces).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar, and salt until thoroughly combined.
Gently fold the bread cubes into the egg mixture, making sure every piece is nicely coated. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with melted butter to prevent sticking.
Transfer the coated bread cubes into the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd them.
Cook the bread cubes in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Once done, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Dust the French toast bites with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup or fresh berries for dipping.
