to tastepieceslemon wedges and fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, fresh dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure that all pieces are evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap.
Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (ideally 4 hours for maximum flavor).
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are evenly distributed and ash-white.
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is golden brown with grill marks.
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve the grilled chicken with lemon wedges and garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 4 hours.
