Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and grated ginger to create a marinade.
Add the salmon cubes to the marinade, making sure each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon cubes (reserve the marinade) and sear for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown on one side.
Turn the salmon bites over, pour the reserved marinade over them, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and let the salmon bites cool slightly before serving.
Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
For more flavor, marinate the salmon for up to 2 hours.
