Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the unsweetened applesauce, almond flour, cocoa powder, sugar-free syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
Add the baking powder, cinnamon, and salt into the mixture, and stir until fully incorporated.
Gently fold in the chopped nuts and dark chocolate chips, ensuring an even distribution throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment paper.
