13 cupstevia or erythritol (or any other sugar substitute of your choice)
12 cupdark chocolate chips (sugar-free if preferred)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, unsweetened applesauce, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition to ensure even incorporation.
In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, almond flour, baking soda, baking powder, sea salt, and the sugar substitute. This helps to combine all dry ingredients and removes any lumps.
Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the dark chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, and spread it evenly using a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (or with a few moist crumbs).
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Use sugar-free chocolate chips for a completely sugar-free treat.
